The shoe looked very nice but the fit was too cramped on the sides ( squeezing ) and on the right heel. I will return them. Thank You.

The shoe quality was very good. The look was amazing. However, the medium width was too cramped for the sides of my foot and tight in the heel.

It's a comfortable, cool shoe but runs a bit narrow for a M foot; your feet are getting squeezed. It feel as though they may loosen a bit after wearing for a while but for the price it didn't seem worth the risk.

These look great, but the fit is not great. Really cramped at toe, to the point of pain wearing them. I hate to say these need to go back :-(

These shoes are ridiculously narrow. I could barely get my foot in. I generally wear a medium width shoe (and do feel comfortable in a wide to be fair), but even looking at these shoes IRL you can see how they are crazy narrow.

I got so many compliments and the boots are comfortable for all day wear.

Fanciest dang thing I own, now. Gonna go steppin' out on the town. Thanks, as always, TAFT!

My original order was slightly too large. The exchange process was seamless. I have a smaller pair now.

I really love the look and feel of these boots, as do many others, evident by the numerous compliments I receive. I am however, a little concerned about the finish. I've had them for four months now and have only worn them 2-3 times each month yet they seem to be developing very visible cracks which I hope is only in the finish and not the actual leather. I'll apply some leather salve and see how they look afterwards. This is one of 4 pair of Taft boots I now own. I certainly look forward to more.

The amount of looks and comments on my shoes was something else. Everybody loved this dress shoe, definitely the most compliments Ive gotten in a while. The overall image of the shoe and quality was perfect. Whether it was the material, the shine and even the lining of the inside of the shoe. This was a perfect product.

Definitely beautiful. The overall look is absolutely perfect. The quality and feel of it is exactly what you would expect. Taft definitely hit the target with this one! An amazing product from an amazing brand. Overall service was a 10 out of 10.

These are my fourth pair of boots from Taft. Just love the quality of these boots. I have my eye on other pair.

The simplicity and sleek look of this design manage to subvert the complexity of the design. It has a subtle elegance where it likely would have become ostentatious in another designer's hands. . . AND they were immediately a comfortable fit. I'm so pleased with my purchase & delivery was extremely prompt. Another TAFT victory for my wardrobe!

I can not express how beautiful and comfortable these shoes are. In a world where folks love there comfortable wear, I was a bit above. A two year old girl was pointing at my shoes knowing there was something different.

Nice looking, break in takes time, (as it should) run a little big, (boots tend to) and versatile. Very similar to the Scotty from Bruno Magli, which is my reason for choosing this boot, though the stitching/seam on toe box isn't quite as pronounced. My issue is they are made in El Salvador. Would have preferred an Italian-made leather, or a Made in USA (Redwing) but not reading the buried fine print is on me, I guess.

Wow!! These shoes are good looking and feel great! I was hesitant to buy a shoe I could not try on but am I glad I did. I have a wide foot and these fit me perfect. Have not worn it yet as the weather in chicago is still rainy and snowy and I would not want to get these wet. I am sure I will get a ton of compliments on them. I will be buying another color as soon as they go on sale again.

This is a gorgeous shoe. I guarantee you will be more pleased with it in person than what it looks like in pictures. I would recommend for US buyers to consider sizing down 1/2" from your normal size because this ended up being a looser fit than I had expected. I had already tossed my box by time I started wearing them but I am using them with thicker socks to compensate. The leather quality is top-notch and has an appropriate sheen that is not too bright or dark.

Very nice and classic looking design
