These slippers are so incredibly comfortable that for some, it's worthwhile to overlook their fatal flaw (but alas, I cannot). On the bottom of the soles Haflinger has glued tiny red dots to provide traction. Spoiler alert... in a few months, you'll start finding red dots all over your house. In your rugs, carpet, tile and garage. You will pick them up until every last one from the bottom of your shoe has been shorn clean off. For twenty bucks more, get the hard soles and save yourself the hassle.

All the reviews are right. Warm, soft, padded, washable, breathable, not sweaty, sleek not fluffy, also stay on your foot without the flip flop clapping of most mule type styles because they stretch slightly onto your foot. Best slipper ever! Sending the others back. These are dope.

These are wonderful slippers; comfortable, perfect for summer and winter. They do stretch after wearing, so make sure they are tight when you try them on. They have little red circles on the bottom so you don't slip. They do not last forever. When the circles wear off, it is time to get a new pair.

Our home has very little carpet - mostly tile flooring. I found that my legs and feet were aching from walking on the hard surface so much. I tried these Haflinger Slippers, not so much for keeping my feet warm, but as house-shoes for cushion and support. I love them! They are exactly what I needed! They provide good support, are extremely comfortable. The design is great! Some have complained about the center seam, I personally do not even notice it! These are great slippers/house shoes.

I have been wearing Haflinger AS Classic Slippers for over 15 years. In less than a year, the last two pairs, one gray and one a wonderful turquoise were not as long lasting as past slippers. Within less than a year the turquoise slipper sole split at the toe, creating a trip hazard. The gray pair developed holes at the big toe. In 15 years this has never happened. Through the years, I have vacuumed my slippers, and have also gently hand washed them and set them out to dry on a nice day. Eventually, after long wear, they would wear down on the sole, but that would be 2-3 years duration, not less than one year. Irrespective of this, and I imagining some change in quality control, I reordered a navy pair this winter which I am wearing as I write and have just ordered a gray pair. That's how comfortable they are, hope springs eternal and, with luck, #Haflinger will read this and figure out what went wrong. A loyal customer.
